Description
Vigil has made it to the second round of 's AFL tournament, and faces some tough opposition!
Firstly, 's Plaid Wonder who won all ten fights in her group - the only character to manage it! And if that wasn't enough, Vigil has to face 's Fowl, terror of Parris City!
This was really hard to draw - I wanted to do a comic strip but found it very difficult to fit a storyline that served all three characters well into a single page. In the end I decided to ditch the comic strip idea and go with a single action shot.
So - Vigil takes Plaid Wonder out of the fight by dropping her through a portal and into the midst of the other fighters from her group - none too pleased that she beat them in the last round and looking for some payback! As for the Fowl - Stephen Demoge's grip on sanity is tenuous at best, and Vigil is forcing him to confront some inner demons - making him realise exactly what he's become with a moment of telepathically induced clarity!
Don't know if this will enough to win - the competition are both fantastic artists - but AFL II has been fantastic fun and even if this is Vigil's last fight it's been great - thanks a lot to Leigh for running it and to all the great artists who have drawn Vigil for me!
