This is it! The War Begins!
This is of course completely ripped off from the original Secret Wars, written by Jim Shooter and with art by Mike Zeck. I've adapted it to my style and replaced the Marvel characters with our own creations, but the layouts and dialogue are all taken from the original story. I've gained a new appreciation for Zeck's panel compositions in doing this - later issues of Secret Wars were a bit rushed I think but this early stuff is absolutely top notch. Dialogue follows the original pretty closely, although that has been adapted to fit our characters (Spidey didn't mention Stockholm!) Lettering here was done by the incomparable  who is just my favourite person ever.  Secret Wars (the original!) is of course owned by Marvel Comics! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
