Long time no see!
Hi all! Hope all is going well! As you might have noticed, I've not been around that much lately - it's temporary - I still love drawing and posting my stuff here - but the dreaded 'real-life-stuff' is getting in the way at the moment. I recently moved house - across half the country - and started a new job. All is going well, but starting everything all over from scratch is so much more work than I expected! Staying on top of the new job is eating almost all of my free time, and when I do have free time, I just don't have the energy or focus to draw right now. So - firstly - apologies to those people waiting for commissions or art trades. I've started them and fully intend to finish them - but it might take a little longer than I'd hoped. I really appreciate your patience. For everyone else - there are some exciting projects in the pipeline - but the pipes are just a bit blocked right now! Hopefully I'll have more to share with you soon :)

VIGILANCE!
Over the last few weeks I've been lucky enough to see my character Vigil recreated by some very talented artists, so this journal is all about showing off their amazing creations! First of all, I commissioned the incredible to imagine Vigil's encounter with an old 50s Sci-fi alien - the Metaluna Mutant from 'This Island Earth'... You can see a coloured version of this picture here Bryan is an artist I've been following for a long time so getting a rare commission was a real treat. Make sure that you go and visit his gallery if you haven't already seen it! My next wonderful bit of Vigil art is by - such a great image and I love the lighting on it in particular. He created some variations on this picture which are well worth going to look at! Finally, and saving the most surprising to last - get a look at THIS! Vigil is real! Long overdue journal update!
Well... a long overdue journal! The last few months have been... how can I put this - the busiest of my entire life! Covid has thrown some very nasty curve balls at my job and everything I do has become about three times more difficult and takes five times as long. I know many, many people have it much worse than me and I'm very grateful to have a job in such tough times - but it hasn't left much time for... well, anything, really - but certainly not artwork. So - the main reason for posting this is to offer my sincere and profound apologies to the hugely talented people who took part in my Centauri competition - I haven't forgotten you and plans are afoot... just might take a bit longer! Took me long enough to get here, didn't I? XD Very much relieved that Chapter 11 has finally wrapped up, things were getting dull with Plague hogging the show!
I'll be patient and wait for the final chapter to arrive. But for lord's sake, TRY to be done before 2012 comes around!
